Conference Aston is the perfect place to stay when visiting Birmingham for business or leisure. Set within the landscaped grounds of Aston University in the city centre, Conference Aston is only a ten minute walk from Birmingham's main shopping area and within easy reach of the ICC and the NIA.On Site Parking is available (prebookable and chargeable), Birmingham New Street Station is a 15 minute walk away and Birmingham Airport NEC are approximately 20 minutes away by taxi. From Monday 5th August 2013 until Monday 7th October 2013 inclusive, the restaurant, lounge and bar services, including breakfast, provided by the Conference Aston Hotel will take place in the Lakeside Conference Centre, two minutes' walk from the hotel building. During this period, expansion and full refurbishment works will take place to provide exceptional new bar and dining facilities from Tuesday 8th October 2013. On the night of Sunday 4th August 2013, no restaurant or bar facilities will be available due to works taking place in the hotel. Directions

From M6 North and South: Exit at Junction 6 and follow A38M towards City Centre; Take lane 2 of the A38M for almost 2 miles and take the 3rd exit off (at the 'end of motorway' sign before the flyover) and Aston University will be on your left hand side; Stay in the left-hand lane alongside the University and then at the round-about with the Fire Station on the left, take the 1st exit onto the James Watt Queensway. Stay in the left lane and there will be a terracotta coloured building on the left hand side. Continue straight ahead through a pedestrain crossing and straight through the first set of traffic lights (DO NOT follow signs for the Aston University car park). Almost immediately after these traffic lights, take a left at the next set of traffic lights onto Jennens Road (Matthew Boulton Campus building will be on the left hand side). Take the second left, immediately before The Black Horse pub off Jennens Road onto Woodcock Street. Then take the second left onto Aston Street. The Hotel and Conference Centre is the new glass fronted building on the right hand side and a luggage drop off point is available outside the main entrance. Reception will be able to provide you with a map to local pay and display carparks. From M42 East Midlands: From the M42 join the M6 northbound heading towards Birmingham Central. Leave the M6 at junction 6 and follow the directions from M6 North and South above. From M5 South-West and City Centre: Leave the M5 at Junction 3 and follow the A456 for about 5 miles towards the City Centre; As you approach the City, the road broadens to three lanes. Take the outside lane following signs for Convention Centre and Broad Street. Take the underpass into Broad Street; Drive all the way along Broad Street and follow the signs at the round-about for Inner Ring Road, North and M6, Lichfield A38. Take the 2nd exit from round-about following the same signs; Keep in the outside lane and take the underpass (St Chads Circus Queensway) signed Lichfield A38; At the end of the underpass, exit left before the flyover; Go to the round-about and take the 3rd exit off past the Fire Station, onto the James Watt Queensway. Stay in the left lane and there will be a terracotta coloured building on the left hand side. Travel north on the M5, leaving at junction 3 and follow directions from M5 South-West above. If travelling to us using a Sat Nav or other GPS system, please search for Aston Street as the B4 7ET postcode will not give an accurate location.
